Shakespeare lived, walked, and poached in and around Stratford-upon-Avon for the first 28 years of his life before moving on to a successful playwriting career in London. I lived, walked, and didn’t poach (unless you count collecting roadkill to feed a mate’s ferrets) in and around Stratford-upon-Avon for the first 28 years of my life before moving on to Springfield, in northern Virginia, U.S.A…. Oh, and I haven’t written any plays, yet!
BardsWorld is a personal blog with no hidden agenda. It is here just to let you know what I’ve seen, what I’ve been thinking, or what has inspired/humoured/shocked/amazed/interested [delete as applicable] me enough to want to share it with the world in a semi permanent fashion!
What else? Well I would start with free speech, creativity, and just a little whimsy… and inspiration from Douglas Adams, Robert Palmer, John Peel (all sadly missed) and the always brilliant Kate Bush, but if you still feel the urge to know more, contact the me!!!
To get in touch with the bard, you can drop me an email to one of the plethora of email addresses I use on a semi-regular basis. Of course if you know me, you probably know which one to use for the quickest response ![]()
Alternatively, post me a comment here on the blog, I read them all don’t you know!
