In Memory of Humphrey Lyttelton, 1921-2008

Another comic, and jazz, legend has taken the final bow and shuffled off this mortal coil.  Humphrey Lyttelton will always be remembered by me as the chairman, and allegedly presenter, of I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue which was/is an amazingly humerous alternative to panel game shows aired on BBC Radio 4.  His senses of innuendo, comedy, and timing were perfect, and an inspiration to us all.

Through his broadcasts he taught me the intricacies of playing Mornington Crescent, and that is a lifelong debt no man can ever repay.  Thanks Humph!
